Apple will offer Chinese handwriting recognition in iPhone 2.0

Apple will integrate Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) input into the iPhone. As you write the character, you are presented with a list of the possible characters on the right side of the input pane. The latest private beta of Apple’s upcoming iPhone Software v2.0 includes a handwriting recognition interface for the Chinese language, according to a new report.

HWPen for iPhone is updated to 1.0.1 beta today. The application is developed by Hanwang Technology Co. Ltd.( leading company of China in the fields of research, development, and manufacture of diverse intelligent pattern recognition technologies). This is the first Handwriting Recognition IME on iPhone. Developed by Hanwang.com.cn. Chinese multi-character and Latin alphabet input are supported now. You still can install or update from Installer’s source: http://iphonecake.com/src/all.

A good guy from Hanwang Technology Co. Ltd.( leading company of China in the fields of research, development, and manufacture of diverse intelligent pattern recognition technologies), released a beta version of iPhone handwriting recognition application called HWPen for iPhone. Now you can install it with PXL package or manually. Update: HWPen for iPhone has a install source now, please add following url to Installer’s source: http://iphonecake.com/src/all

Tip: When you met “white apple logo” error after installed HWPen for iPhone, just delete /Library/HWPen/libHWIME.dylib line in com.apple.SpringBoard.plist.
